I just spent hours to work on the Android-x86 project deployment with Hyper-V. The experience is nothing but frustration – 1) You must modify the menu.lst of the grub to make the droid boot with UI; 2) No mouse capture support, which means you have to use adb connector with VNC to control your droid.
I tried both the 6 and 7(rc) versions, both the same experience.
However, Microsoft has its own emulator for Android. But why if searching “Hyper-V Android” most results and tutorial are about Android-86??
So I draft this article as a guide for you that you can use: Visual Studio Emulator for Android
The emulator requires Hyper-V. So if you are a fan of Hyper-V this is your best choice.
